Individual, Couples, and Relationship Psychotherapist at Samtökin 78 since 2016

Todd received a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology: Individual, Couples and Family Therapy from Antioch University Seattle, USA. The degree is inclusive of creative arts therapies and drama therapy. Todd is licensed in the United States of America and certified in Narrative Therapy.

Todd is a multiculturally informed, sex positive, feminist-minded professional with a passion for social justice.
There are 5 major movements or key approaches in psychology: Psychoanalytic, Behavioral, Humanistic, Multicultural, and Social Justice. Rather than applying a medical model to my approach and with an awareness of the five forces of psychology, Todd believes in helping clients explore their personal sense of self. This journey is not linear. There is no “one way” to be.

In the helping process, Todd utilizes techniques from numerous evidence-based and empirically supported theoretical perspectives while recognizing the need to attend to cultural and other forms of human diversity.

Todd is a husband, dog-owner, music-listener, traveler, and collector of vintage typewriters.
